I authorise Teva Pharma Australia Pty Ltd (Teva), its affiliates and service providers to contact me by mail, email, telephone, and electronic message for communication about Teva’s business, products, services, events and to conduct market research.

Our service providers and affiliates are based in jurisdictions including Australia, Israel, United States, and the European Union and handle your information according to their local laws, which may not ensure compliance with Australian law. By making this acknowledgment you consent to the disclosure of your information on this basis, including that Australian Privacy Principle (APP) 8.1 (which requires Teva to take reasonable steps to ensure that an overseas recipient does not breach the APPs) will not apply. This means that Teva will not be accountable under the Australian Privacy Act (Cth) if the service provider or affiliate handles your personal information in breach of the Australian Privacy Principles and you may not be able to seek redress under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) or in the overseas jurisdiction in respect of such practices. If you consent to the disclosure of your information on this basis, other practical risks include that our service providers and affiliates may not be subject to any privacy obligations or principles similar to the APPs and/or may be subject to a foreign law that could compel the disclosure of your personal information to a third party e.g. an overseas authority.
